Version 3.0 | 18 October 2026 | South Africa
LovCash helps participating businesses earn supplier-funded cashback when they buy qualifying stock. These Business Terms explain how the programme works, how you can use it, and the responsibilities we each have. They form part of your agreement with LovCash, together with the General Terms and applicable offer conditions.
The essentials: Cashback is earned only on qualifying purchases. Each supplier can set conditions for using its cashback. Your trader card helps identify a purchase; it is not authority to spend. Supplier cashback is different from CZAR digital wallet value. Always keep your PIN and one-time codes private.
1.1 You may register a business you own or one that has properly authorised you to act for it. You confirm that your details are accurate and that you have any required authority, licences and permits.
1.2 These Business Terms operate together with the LovCash General Terms. We will give you access to applicable Terms before you accept them. When you accept through the app or another valid process, they become part of your agreement.
1.3 We may update the Terms for legal, security, business or operational reasons. We will tell you about important changes and when they take effect. Where the law requires renewed acceptance, we will ask for it. Changes do not automatically cancel rights you have already lawfully earned.
1.4 Your right to use LovCash is limited, non-exclusive and not transferable without permission. You may use only the services available to your account, for lawful purposes.
1.5 Where these Terms expressly protect a LovCash group company, that company may accept and enforce the benefit as permitted by law, including by written notification. Participating stores, suppliers and service providers are independent businesses unless expressly stated otherwise.
2.1 Your account may be connected to your cellphone number, business details and an approved trader identifier. Keep these details accurate.
2.2 A store may use your trader card or another approved identifier to match a stock purchase to your account. The card may need to be linked to the correct cellphone number. If details do not match, the purchase might not earn cashback. Ask the store to check before you pay.
2.3 A card used to identify qualifying purchases is not a spending authorisation code.
2.4 Keep your PIN and one-time codes secret. Do not give them to a cashier, LovCash agent or anyone claiming to work for LovCash. Agents may explain the app but must not ask for, enter, record or keep your PIN or one-time codes.
2.5 If you suspect that another person knows your PIN or has accessed your account without permission, contact LovCash promptly. We may restrict suspicious accounts or transactions to protect against fraud and security risks, subject to the law.
3.1 When you buy stock for your business, you may earn LovCash cashback on a qualifying purchase. The cashback is funded under an offer from a participating supplier. LovCash records and manages the reward through its platform.
3.2 You earn cashback only if the purchase meets the offer rules and the transaction is accepted by the system. Buying stock does not automatically mean you earn cashback. The reward is not a discount the store must give at the till.
3.3 An offer may apply only to certain suppliers, products, sizes, stores, dates or types of purchases. It may restrict where and how you spend cashback. We must make important conditions clear before or when you take part. Cashback from one supplier does not automatically apply to another supplier's goods.
3.4 A store may use your trader card or another approved identifier to match the purchase to your LovCash account. If the required details do not match, cashback might not be allocated. LovCash does not promise a later allocation for an unmatched purchase unless the approved offer provides that right.
4.1 Cashback earned on a qualifying purchase before account activation must be activated within 90 days after the date of that purchase, if the applicable supplier offer and law permit this deadline. Each purchase has its own activation deadline, which we will make available to you. You do not need to activate your account again if it is already active. A reward does not expire under this clause if mandatory law or an existing accrued right requires it to remain available.
4.2 If you activate an eligible reward within its 90-day activation period but after the normal supplier-offer spending deadline, you may have an additional 14 calendar days from the time of activation to use that reward, if the governing offer and law permit the extension. The same permitted supplier products, stores and other conditions continue to apply. No extension overrides a mandatory expiry protection or an earlier legally vested right.
4.3 A supplier cashback reward may expire only according to a valid, clearly disclosed offer and applicable law. Any unused amount remaining after a lawful expiry will be dealt with according to the supplier agreement and existing user rights. LovCash may retain expired value only where it is legally entitled to do so. This clause does not give LovCash ownership of CZAR or other wallet value, and does not retrospectively cancel an entitlement.
5.1 Your account may display cashback from different suppliers together. We still track each supplier's cashback separately, and each supplier's permitted products, outlets, dates and conditions continue to apply.
5.2 CZAR is a different form of digital wallet value. Where you use CZAR, the relevant CZAR Terms explain its use and settlement. Supplier cashback is not automatically CZAR and does not automatically give you a right to withdraw cash or transfer value to another wallet.
5.3 LovCash may change, replace or stop a service where permitted by the agreement and law. If it affects an existing balance, we will deal with amounts lawfully due to you under the applicable terms. Moving to a different system does not automatically cancel a right you have already earned.
5.4 Historic CZAR merchant transactions, settlements, refunds, independent bulk-supplier orders, wallet deductions and other associated rights are governed by the Legacy CZAR & Merchant Services Schedule, the applicable original contract and law. The schedule does not automatically activate a discontinued service or extend its rights to supplier cashback.
6.1 LovCash may charge disclosed fees for certain services or transactions. The applicable fee schedule or agreed terms explain which fees apply, how they are calculated and when payable.
6.2 Where the agreement and law allow, LovCash may deduct agreed fees and properly owed adjustments through the relevant transaction, wallet or settlement.
6.3 A supplier may pay LovCash to run a cashback programme. That does not automatically make you responsible for the supplier's programme fees.
6.4 Agreeing to these Terms alone does not authorise LovCash to debit your bank account. A debit requires a valid mandate or another lawful basis.
7.1 You buy your stock from the participating store, not from LovCash. The store is responsible for the goods it sells and its legal duties to you. The participating supplier makes an eligible offer available, while LovCash manages the cashback platform.
7.2 If a product is defective or your purchase is disputed, contact the store. If you think your cashback was incorrectly recorded or used, contact LovCash with the relevant transaction details. Each party remains responsible for its own legal duties.
7.3 We may investigate suspected duplicate, invalid or fraudulent transactions and make lawful corrections. We will not invent a broad new right to cancel properly earned cashback.
8.1 You must run your business lawfully, keep relevant licences and permits, and provide true, accurate and complete information. Tell us when important details change.
8.2 You must not use LovCash for fraud, bribery, money laundering, counterfeit goods, fake purchases, false refunds or other unlawful activity. Restricted activities also include the sectors prohibited under the applicable General Terms and valid service rules. Where the historic CZAR service terms apply, the original specific prohibited categories and the two-month notice requirement for additional categories remain applicable, to the extent lawful. Any new category restrictions will be communicated as required by the agreement and law.
8.3 We may refuse, restrict, suspend or end access if we reasonably believe your conduct breaches the law, these Terms or lawful risk requirements. We may act urgently when needed to protect the platform or prevent fraud. Where required by law, we will explain the action and give you a chance to respond.
9.1 We may process business, account and transaction details to register users, check eligible purchases, administer cashback, prevent fraud, provide support, prepare permitted reports and meet legal duties.
9.2 We may identify participating businesses in lawful promotional material. The Privacy Policy explains our use and sharing of information. Where separate permission is required for marketing, we will ask for it.
10.1 LovCash or its licensors retain rights in the app, website, software, brand, logos and other protected material. You may use them only as allowed by the agreement and law. Using LovCash does not give you ownership of our technology or brand.
10.2 You give independent assurances that you are authorised to register the business and conduct its transactions, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will comply with the agreement and law. If your fraud, deliberate misrepresentation or material breach causes LovCash or a party protected under the agreement a loss, you must indemnify the protected party for reasonably established losses arising from that conduct, to the extent the indemnity is valid and enforceable under applicable law. LovCash may claim valid service fees, repayment amounts and the cost of remedying fraudulent or invalid transactions. Nothing makes you responsible for LovCash's own liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to you.
10.3 We work to keep the platform available, but stores, networks and other systems may sometimes fail. We cannot promise uninterrupted service. The General Terms set out further lawful limitations on responsibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes a right that the law does not permit us to exclude.
11.1 If an account is restricted or closed, we will deal with any existing lawfully owed balances under the applicable terms and law. Closure does not automatically cancel earned rights.
11.2 You should report suspected unauthorised use, reward errors or other service problems using the support channels displayed in the app or website. Never send your PIN or one-time codes to support staff.
11.3 Matters such as notices, dispute resolution, governing law, confidentiality and the survival of contractual obligations are addressed in the General Terms.
